Aparently there is a small group of gentoo developers that are going through
with the meta distribution idea, and are actively developing and managing an effort
to bring a working portage to OSX. This would
rock. I love using portage on my windows machines, its easy to use and powerfull at the same time.
There is a disk image that installs a “working” portage system here.
Aparently there is also a wiki for support.
